This Data Policy describes how [LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME] ("EbisuIQ," "we," or "us") treats the business data you provide through the EbisuIQ platform (the "Service") and how our AI and data-governance model works. This policy covers restaurant business and purchasing data; the personal information of individual users is described separately in our Privacy Policy.
You own the business data you provide to EbisuIQ, including:
Your customer-owned data is confidential to your restaurant. It is never shared with other restaurants, and it is isolated from other accounts using row-level security.
EbisuIQ owns the EbisuIQ software, AI models, algorithms, Platform logic, anonymous aggregated intelligence, and AI-generated benchmark models. These elements are part of the Platform and are licensed to you for use during the Service, not sold or transferred.
Anonymized and aggregated information may be used to improve AI recommendations, OCR accuracy, purchasing intelligence, forecasting, product intelligence, benchmark models, and future AI capabilities. No customer-identifiable information is used to train AI models.
OpenAI is the third-party processor used to deliver invoice-reading and AI assistant features. Uploaded content is sent to OpenAI only to fulfill your own request — not for third-party model training on EbisuIQ's behalf.
To build market intelligence for all customers, EbisuIQ computes anonymous, aggregated statistics — such as product demand and seasonal trends, category popularity, regional purchasing trends, price movement, and AI learning statistics — from active restaurant purchasing data. These statistics are calculated from current data rather than stored as a separate, independent dataset; EbisuIQ does not currently maintain a standalone anonymized aggregate data store that persists after the underlying restaurant data is removed (see Section e).
The following are never included in any cross-restaurant or collective statistic, in any form:
The restaurant owner may delete the restaurant's account at any time. Upon deletion, EbisuIQ removes your restaurant's business records, including invoices, vendor and product records, contacts, delivery schedules, and the review queue.
EbisuIQ does not currently maintain a separate anonymized aggregate data store (see Section d). Because anonymized statistics are computed from active restaurant data rather than stored independently, no anonymized aggregated intelligence attributable to your restaurant is retained after deletion.
Certain records are retained after deletion for compliance and security purposes only: audit and security logs, and records of consent you have previously provided. Referral and invitation records that reference your restaurant or account are anonymized — identifying details removed — rather than deleted outright, since the same record may also involve another restaurant's referral history.
Uploaded files may be retained in secure storage for a limited operational period; file-level deletion is not yet fully implemented, so we describe this conservatively rather than guaranteeing immediate removal of every stored image.
Additional data-driven features or account types may be introduced in the future under supplemental terms. Nothing in this Data Policy implies that Benchmarking, Market Intelligence, Supplier Insights, Forecasting, Enterprise or Distributor accounts, Marketplace, or API integrations exist today.
